Toshiba creates the BV400D printer series with their latest mid-range operating system incorporating Toshiba’s most advanced print technology into the sleekest case design for the ultimate user experience.
Toshiba Tec, a leading global provider of workplace solutions unveils their new BV400D thermal barcode printer series. By increasing their performance and durability these new desktop printers are the most powerful ones Toshiba has ever had. Toshiba’s latest desktop printer range consists of five different models, all with a small footprint and intelligent design which brings simplicity and efficiency to sophisticated work environments and raises the user experience to the next level.
One focus of the new series is on device handling which should be as intuitive as possible. At development stage it was clear for Toshiba that simplicity as well as harmony should lead to a seamless user experience. As a result, the BV400D printer series has a sleek design that follows an ever-present ease-of-use approach. Display information is clear as day and media replacement is easier than ever so that the daily operation of the printer is a breeze. On top of that the BV400D printers with their small footprint suit workplaces where space is at a premium.
“The BV400D is a design collaboration between Toshiba Tec barcode & POS engineering” says Angel de Juan, General Manager Auto ID Europe “and our aim was to develop a unique series of printers that meets the expectations of modern customers. These printers are incredibly versatile – the high-speed printers are ideal for transport and logistics where shipping labels are printed with an exceptionally reliable quality and with their extended connectivity features such as wireless printing they are the perfect match for retail or food and beverages sectors.”
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic e-commerce is still one of the most fast-growing sectors. With the BV400D series Toshiba developed a label printer to meet the specific needs of this segment. Easy integration into various IT environments through Wi-Fi or Bluetooth is done seamlessly and being MFi certified, wireless connections work also together with iOS devices. The new operating system enables the BV400D printers to be entirely controlled from various handheld devices that run Toshiba apps on iOS, Android or Windows. And for the individual business requirements Toshiba supports a wide range of SDKs to develop unique workflow applications running on various systems such as Android and iOS. Additional functions like the simple receipt mode enable automatic saving of paper when using continuous material.
The BV400D series incorporates Toshiba technology that was previously exclusively reserved for mid-range or industrial printers only, such as smart LCD display for improved user experience or top of the class print speeds with up to 7 inches per second. The robustness of the printers offers high print quality and performance rivalling most mid-ranged printers.
The availability of these products throughout Europe may vary from country to country.
