TOSHIBA LAUNCHES ANOTHER SEVEN HIGH-END A3 PRINTING SYSTEMS

After the successful launch of twelve new models in August, Toshiba now renews its high-end monochrome and colour A3 system range.

Neuss/Germany – September 2016, Toshiba today announced the launch of seven new, high-end colour and monochrome multifunction systems: the monochrome e-STUDIO8508A series with four models and the colour e-STUDIO7506AC series consisting of three models. Just like the twelve models launched a few weeks ago these e-STUDIO models feature a durable and reliable engine to maximise document output and reduce the total cost of ownership. A new stylish black look completes the new products’ innovative design while meeting even the most challenging business demands.

The new models feature Toshiba’s latest printing technology to address the print, document management and workflow needs of virtually any business application. The new software and hardware elements, which include a customisable tablet-style user interface, support of embedded applications and a Dual Scan Document Feeder (DSDF), highlight Toshiba’s innovative product portfolio. All of the features are designed to help organisations operate more efficiently and cost effectively while improving their workflows.

High-volume document handling is what these systems were designed for: with a maximum paper capacity of up to 6,020 sheets their productivity leaves nothing to desire. The standard DSDF helps users complete even the most challenging of projects in no time by delivering up to 240 images per minute while holding as many as 300 sheets at a time. And via the customisable 22.9 cm (9”) tablet-like user interface direct access to complex tasks, such as scanning document to different locations including the embedded optical character recognition (OCR), are made easy.

To match the individual needs of different businesses Toshiba offers a wide range of hardware and software options for the new systems to allow the creation of tailor-made document workflow solutions. The print speeds range from 55 to 75 pages per minute (ppm) in colour with 65 to 75 ppm in monochrome for the e-STUDIO7506AC series and 55 to 85 ppm for the e-STUDIO8508A series.

“Our latest e-STUDIO line represents our most innovative and intuitive MFPs to date," said Andreas Kleinschmidt, Senior Manager European Marketing at Toshiba Tec. "Understanding that every industry has unique needs, we integrated state-of-the-art and customisable technology into our new MFP line to meet the complex demands of today’s business users."

Caring for the environment is at the core of Toshiba’s philosophy and this can be seen in the new models. Both series conform with leading environmental standards, such as ENERGY STAR®, and thanks to new energy saving technology power consumption has been drastically reduced.

The availability of these products throughout Europe may vary from country to country.
