TOSHIBA UNVEILS TWELVE NEW A3 MODELS

Toshiba launches three new A3 series with a total of twelve exciting new multifunction systems in colour and monochrome. Completely redesigned these models incorporate Toshiba’s latest controller technology.

Neuss/Germany – August 2016, Toshiba announced the launch of twelve new colour and monochrome multifunction systems: two series of colour systems – the e-STUDIO2000AC/2500AC and the e-STUDIO5005AC series – with a total of seven models and the e-STUDIO5008A series consisting of five monochrome models. What all three series have in common is the newly developed controller technology with advanced features which lets these system easily adapt to any workplace environment.

This is most obvious when looking at the 22.9 cm (9”) tablet-like user interface. Operating the multifunction systems is just as intuitive as using a mobile device and gives easy access to all functions. Furthermore, it can be personalised according to a user’s preferences and need – starting with the possibility to change the background image and the icons and personalising the views all the way to creating short cuts to start complex document workflow processes.

The Dual Scan Document Feeder is another highlight which comes with the new models. As an optional feature for the e-STUDIO5008A series the e-STUDIO5005AC series, this document feeder has an outstanding capacity of up to 300 sheets and allows double-sided scanning at an impressive speed of up to 240 images per minute.

Regarding the functionality all three series come with print, scan and copy as standard functions and offer fax, OCR scanning and pull-printing as option. To meet the needs of modern businesses they all also support cloud and mobile printing. Thanks to the open platform architecture and embedded apps the systems can easily be connected to server applications to support the creation of customised workflows. These workflows can help simplify complex tasks of scanning, archiving or document management thereby increasing the overall productivity of a business. Also the deployment of workflows, user management as well as monitoring and reporting can be done centrally, saving administrators valuable time.

“We understand that every industry has unique workflow needs and have developed systems which give our customers full flexibility”, says Andreas Kleinschmidt, Senior Manager for European Marketing - Products & Solutions. “With the launch of these twelve new models we deliver on our promise of Together Information and provide tailor-made, cost effective document management solutions.”

All twelve systems deliver impeccable document output and are highly reliable and efficient. They only differ in print speed, paper capacity and finishing options. The e-STUDIO5005AC series comes in five different speeds ranging between 25 and 50 pages per minute (ppm) and offer a paper capacity of up to 3,200 sheets and an extended range of finishing options to create perfect colour documents. The e-STUDIO2000AC/2500AC on the other hand are two entry-level colour systems with a print speed of 20 and 25 ppm respectively and a maximum paper capacity of 2,900 sheets.

The five monochrome systems of the e-STUDIO5008A series are highly productive systems with a large choice of finishing options and paper sources. With print speeds from 25 to 50 ppm and their paper capacity of up to 3,200 sheets they meet all requirements of today’s business needs.

Toshiba’s ongoing commitment to create a greener tomorrow is also reflected in these new models. Lower energy consumption and advanced energy save functions help save valuable resources. They also comply with leading environmental programmes and standards such as the ENERGY STAR® and Blue Angel.

The availability of these products throughout Europe may vary from country to country.
