GOAL 5 - GENDER EQUALITY

In developing countries, women’s earnings are typically 24% lower than those of men, despite women working on average 12-13 hours per week longer than men.

The Sustainable Development Goal 5 (Gender equality) is aiming to end all forms of discrimination against women and girls by 2030, focusing in particular on ending violence against women and on ensuring equality of opportunity for women in education, work and access to economic resources.
