With two more series of models in the e-STUDIO multifunctional printer line-up, Toshiba provides enhanced levels of reliability, productivity and cloud security to meet the needs of demanding companies and workgroups. The new additions – six models in total – include one of the fastest printers Toshiba has offered yet, with an output of 90 pages per minute.
Neuss/Germany, May 2023
The e-STUDIO7527AC colour series and e-STUDIO9029A monochrome series comprise three models each to meet a wide range of high-volume printing and document management needs with the latest technologies. In organisations where only the fastest is fast enough, the 9029A series is the solution of choice: the multifunctional printers deliver monochrome documents at the breath- taking speed of 90 pages per minute (PPM). Not far behind, the 7527AC series offers colour printing at a speed of up to 75ppm and 85ppm in mono mode. Both model families produce document formats up to A3 in impeccable detail.
Smart and convenient design
The new multifunctional printer (MFP) models all feature a premium look & feel, combining the high-gloss piano black and silver line design with the leather surface and dot pattern. To meet the needs of larger organizations, all of the new devices are very productive, capable of printing large volumes efficiently. They also come with external large-capacity feeders that can hold up to 4,500 sheets, to increase the total paper capacity up to 8,020 sheets. In addition, they are equipped with a high-speed dual-side document feeder (DSDF) with double- feed detection. This saves time by scanning up to 240 impressions per minute. The DSDF uses innovative ultrasonic technology to detect overlapping of multiple pages and stops operation, preventing missing pages in your scan. This eliminates the need for manual checking.
Users have multiple options to add further functionalities and connectivity features that ensure convenient and trouble-free use in busy offices. These include cloud services that can be accessed by installing apps on the e-BRIDGE Plus platform as well as the Zone OCR app. The scan solution automatically corrects, among other potential sources of errors, misalignment in documents, allowing you to easily scan different types of sheets in a single batch.
Designed for lower energy consumption, the devices go into sleep or super- sleep mode when not in use. Thanks to Motion Sensor technology, they can wake up the moment a user approaches, increasing convenience and work efficiency.
Built for today’s workstyles
To improve workflows in line with today’s distributed workplaces, some of the models’ functions can be operated remotely. For increased security, they use a self-encrypting solid-state drive for secure and fast data storage. All six devices are cloud-ready and equipped for remote maintenance. For this purpose, Toshiba employs the following technologies:
- e-BRIDGE Global Print, which lets you to print from any location for secure pick-up from a Global Print-enabled Toshiba MFP at your convenience.
- e-BRIDGE Remote Assist, which allows you to authorise technicians to remotely access e-STUDIO MFPs to carry out diagnostics and adjustments, eliminating the need for many onsite service calls.
The devices are equipped with a newly designed large and adaptable touch- screen user interface (UI). At 26 cm (10.1”), the UI offers a user experience similar to a tablet. It also has an embedded web browser and is fully customisable to enable automated workflows, including integration of third- party solutions.
Secure data management
ID cards issued to staff can be used to limit access. The user simply needs to swipe the card. The Trusted Platform Module 2.0 feature provides industry- leading data security. It is the latest hardware-based security solution and utilises upgraded cryptographic keys to safeguard all data on Toshiba MFPs. Integrated anti-malware functionalities protect against security threats like malicious software.
“These new additions to our e-STUDIO MFP line-up are designed to meet the requirements of a modern workplace and timely service, with remote and cloud-based functionality, as well as enhanced security”, says Wolfgang Theisen, Director European Technical Services at Toshiba Tec “Whether working onsite, remotely on the corporate network or via the cloud, our devices provide seamless access and world-class security.”
