Toshiba introduces 8 new printing systems that speak directly to market needs

From smaller to larger workgroups, organisations and users can look forward to enhanced performance, convenience and security. They deliver not only ease of use and mobile access, but also state-of-the art data security that meets the stringent demands of clients and partners alike. In addition, the new models offer energy and resource efficiency as well as exceptionally long service lives.

  • 4 monochrome models with productivity up to speeds of 47 pages per minute (ppm)
  • 4 colour models up to a speed of 50 ppm
  • A new lineup designed to meet a wide range of today’s needs

The e-STUDIO409AS is an advanced multifunctional monochrome printer (MFP) with an output of up to 40 ppm and delivers exceptional value for money. It is developed for the needs of smaller workgroups, with a special focus on ease-of use, efficiency and security.

The e-STUDIO449S, e-STUDIO479S, e-STUDIO479P are high-performance and economically attractive printing systems. With speeds of up to 47 ppm, they are fine tuned to the needs of mid- to large-scale workgroups with monochrome printing needs. A sound investment in long-term productivity and cost-effective operation.

The e-STUDIO339CS, e-STUDIO409CS, e-STUDIO409CP are powerful printing systems for mid-sized workgroups, up to a speed of 40 ppm in colour. They are packed with powerful performance features and state-of-the-art technologies like printing in monochrome for up to 2000 pages when colour toners run out.

The e-STUDIO509CS delivers professional-quality output in vibrant colours and sharp definition up to 50 ppm makes it an ideal MFP for mid-sized to large workgroups. As an additional convenience feature, the Dual-Scan Document Feeder (DSDF) of the e-STUDIO509CS includes ultrasonic multifeed detection to avoid accidental feeding of more than one page at the same time.

All new models packed with productivity features
All models deliver steady and reliable performance and impeccable print quality. They have been restyled in a reduced and contemporary look with white and matte black finishes, featuring sleek and easy-to-use colour touch panels – mostly tiltable and up to a size of 25.4 cm (10 inches).

The multifunctional printers (MFPs) offer copy, print, scan and fax functionalities and have DSDF as standard for increased productivity. That means you can scan double-sided documents at breathtakingly high speed. With the exception of the e-STUDIO409AS, all utilise a new, faster single-pass duplex scanner unit for up to 100 originals. They support most widespread mobile printing standards in the market, including AirPrint and Mopria.

A variety of apps are available for the MFPs and can connect the cloud-ready devices to major cloud services, so the users can print from or scan to e.g. Microsoft Sharepoint.

Countering data security challenges
Alongside efficiency, convenience and flexibility, data security is a top priority – and Toshiba printing systems are designed to master complex and evolving data challenges and prevent unauthorised access to the device. The new Trusted Platform Module (TPM) which authenticates user authorisation and performs system integrity checks, stores the encryption key on dedicated hardware separate from that used to store data. It works with a unique digital system fingerprint. TPM not only provides peace of mind by ensuring an extraordinarily high level of data security within your organisation, but also enables you to comply with the stringent requirements of many corporations and government agencies.

Eco-friendliness and resource efficiency
To enable your organisation to further reduce its ecological footprint and comply with the environmental, social and governance (ESG) demands of many customers and partners, Toshiba has equipped the printing systems with eco-friendly and low-CO2 emissions properties. Duplex printing is standard, letting you save paper and money. Efficient and long-lasting toner is also integrated as well as auto energy save mode. The series complies fully with the latest emissions standards.

The devices are built with durable steel frames and long-lasting components for long-term, consistent and reliable performance. Every hardware component is engineered to withstand intensive usage and can be maintained with a small number of tools. Longest-possible service lives mean less electronic waste and an enhanced cost-benefit ratio.

“The new four colour and four mono A4 devices offer professional quality, sustainability and up-to-date security,” says Lars Götzsche, Vice President, European Sales and Marketing Division. “Users will benefit from the clean and modern design and the convenient touch screens that make the devices easy-to-use. Sturdily built and long-lasting parts make them reliable office partners that users can depend on.”
